I don’t understand. I’m in tears. ALL of my emails are completely gone. Even archived ones. My old phone broke with my passwords, and was unable to get on my yahoo and hotmail. Life happens. I never received any type of warning/notification or anything. However, my Hotmail/outlook is fine although the timing was the same as yahoo. How can you do this to people?! I had photos and emails from my grandfather who has now passed. I had important documents. I had emails I absolutely loved and so many photos/memories. Other email services don’t do this to people. I have hotmail/outlook and gmail. You break people’s hearts. Please help restore our emails. Please. And please stop doing this. No one should use this It’s terrible.

If an account is unused or dormant for 12 months, it is deactivated and its emails are deleted, more info here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2018.html

If this does not apply to you, You can try doing a search or doing an email restore if the email was deleted in the past 7 days.

In case you are using a mail client such as Outlook or the Native mobile app, emails may be deleted by that third party client. We do recommend accessing your mail via http://yahoo.com or the Yahoo Mail app to avoid this issue.

    Hello, my mom passed away in 2023 and there may have been pictures or emails that I wanted to keep….i’m not sure why this email address was reset after a year.

    contact a person via their email before closing their account would be nice. My daughter can not access any of her account and has been with Yahoo over 20 years.... What's going on with Yahoo?????

    I just want to know what happened to all of my emails???!!!! Why have they been removed??? I had very important attachments saved in some of those emails that can’t be replaced!!!!

    Looks like any emails that were in my inbox this morning that had attachments are now missing - both the email itself and the attachment are gone. Not in Trash or Spam. Dates on emails are wrong too.

    Just confirmed migration from finite, however, last 2 days of email did not migrate and I can not find them anywhere

    I want my email Id dexter_khans@yahoo.co.in to regain all my old previous emails which got deleted automatically by yahoo ....those emails were sentimental and important for me as they were of my father and my husbands and had many old pics of my memories ...I cried so much when yahoo erased them without informing me or giving me any intimation...I seriously want them back please it's beg yahoo to undo what they did to me
