I detest the new forced mobile version.
I want the option to use the desktop views I've set up with specific categories. They give me detailed info I want quickly. Your idea is one of those "what were they thinking" moments.

Ad for mobile broker app stays on that page covering portfolio view even after being dismissed. For the reference I have pixel XL with Android 9.

Don't use the app.
Go to Yahoo finance, portfolio
In the area on your phone where you manage bookmarks you have a choice of desktop view or not. Some sites I like one view over the other.

Return to the old version or I will stop using yahoo professionally and personally. What were you thinking when you did this. Looking elsewhere now.

Also, on mobile site, you show dividend yield as a decimal, not s percent, which is rediculous. This means that a yield of 2.00% and a yield of 2.49% both get displayed as "0.02" in the key statistics tab (btw, it's annoying to have to go to another tab to see what used to be right on the front screen of the old page without me having to scroll at all)
Also, please go back to displaying Previous Close and Pre/After market movement as the stock price, not the change amount. Eg, if stock XYZ closed yesterday at $100, and is up to $110 in pre market, display as "premarket: $110 (10%)" instead of how it is now "10.00 (10%)"

The previous desktop site of yahoo finance offered a few important insights on the main page without me having to click anywhere. Specifically, I was able to view EARNINGS DATE, average 1 yr analyst price targets, etc. the list goes on, and I'd be happy to discuss more offline with you. For what it's worth, I'm a sr VoC analyst for a major Fortune 500 tech company. I live in uservoice. This mobile update definitely missed some use cases. Your release criteria success measure should include "feature parity from classic version". Again please feel free to reach out for more info.

i want to use my browser to view pages, not the stripped down, clunky, mobile view. Your mobile view does not offer the details I want.
You took something useful and neutered it. -

Yes--In the previous version I was able to see both the ticker feed and the LIVE volume on my screen. Now I must both pan up and down and refresh continously. I successfully day trade $600K daily. I will now have to either rely on my Schwab site or use two phones.
