OMG this Search is HORRIBLE
This search is just awful. I constantly outpace the search with my typing. I can no longer just enter ticker and link to the page. Instead I end up having to wait for the stupid predictive results to pop up so that I can then click on the result I want.
I also just noticed that now I'm getting linked to columnists...instead of tickers. I just typed in GS and ended up on some page other than Goldman Sachs. Please provide the option to use the old search or ditch this new feature altogether.
If you are having trouble with the Search feature, please follow the steps provided in the next article: https://yahoo.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/37277137/
If the issues continue, reach out with screenshots and further details to finance.support@verizonmedia.com.

For some reason, often when I type in a ticker symbol and press enter immediately after, yahoo finance brings up the wrong company. For example, if I type in "BMRN" quickly... the drop down search isn't fast enough to know that I typed in "BMRN" and will instead register "B" for Barnes Group. This is incredibly annoying and never used to exist. Please fix it!

If you have a database, you will be compared to Google whether you like it or not. If it doesn't function as well as Google, then you should rethink your investment.

Probably due to length of time to load revenue ads that have priority.

Pages are slow to load - especially right sidebar for Financial or Analyst charts.
Issue: Pages are slow to fully load, especially the right sidebar for Financial or Analyst charts. Even when the charts do load, they are constantly moving position on the page scroll due to ads loading on top of them.
Solutions:
1. Load all data and charts in the side bar on top of the frame, and load ads below all content.
2. Load all data and charts first, and load ads only afterwords. Not idea since this would still be constantly relocating data on the page until all ads are loaded. Ads are killing these pages.
3. Only load ads into main frame not sidebar.
4. Less ads - way too many causing performance issues.

Search often does not find a good ticker since lookup is slow to response or does not respond at all with a message of "no matching ticker" when that is simply not true.
Suggested enhancements:
1. If you type a good ticket and press enter, the site should simply take you to that page. That sometimes works, but other times, you needs to lookup to first response, select an ticket and then select go.
Tickers like M and F often go to the wrong place.2. A Go to Ticker field would be idea on the side bar. When you know the ticket and don't have to look it up. simply want to enter it and go. There is not reason for a lookup in this case. Top bar should be:
Go to ticker: _____ (GO) Search for ticker: _________ (Lookup)
