Please fix multiple issues with being able to access, add and edit contacts!
Seriously? I'm seeing from Yahoo that they require users have to get on a computer to access, edit, add or delete contacts?! You know we're in the 2020's, right? This is ridiculous. Has yahoo thought and considered that many people don't make a habit of getting on computers these days?
And why is that I can sync my yahoo contacts to my cell but not the other way around? I keep all my contacts on my mobile and have them backed up by my phone mfg and Google, since I'm on Android. Outlook, Gmail, Facebook and a whole bunch of other apps allow me to sync my contacts both ways, making life a little easier. Yet Yahoo wants me to go to a web browser to separately add a contact, but not on my cell, no. Rather, you want me to go on a computer, so there goes the convenience of a copy and paste from my mobile contacts. When I tried to go to Yahoo mail on my mobile browser, the app took over. I went into Yahoo app permissions and set it to open in other apps when I go to a yahoo link, but the app still takes over! I'm persistent and finally found a workaround requesting the yahoo website as the desktop version on my mobile browser. Wow! A lot of effort to add my Mom's email that magically disappeared. You know, the yahoo email she's had over 20 years, like I have because we opened them together!
Finally, Gmail and Outlook auto add email addresses after the first time I type it in. That way, even though that email may not be in my contacts, I can type the first letter or two and quickly grab it moving forward. Easy peasy! Once again, Yahoo doesn't have this convenience. So I guess we're supposed to remember email addresses like we did with phone numbers before cell phones. That, or go start up a computer just to manually add an email address to Yahoo contacts, so it'll show up in the future. Wow!
Is anyone else with me that these are basics features that Yahoo should have available for mobile convenience? It's not like this is an expectation coming from thin air. All other major email providers have these features!
