I have noticed in the past year or so that yahoo has started posting articles specifically associated with the Christian Faith such as “ bible verses that will help you get through the day.” Talk about selective journalism news feeds! Either show articles about all religions or show none. It’s passive discrimination to only show/allow articles promoting one religion.
@李宁静 I think most people regardless of intelligence get a feeling of comfort from having their beliefs reinforced.
I'm not sure the willingness to challenge one's own beliefs, potentially discovering you were incorrect about something, or "exposition of limits" as you put it, can be simplified to a matter of smartness.
@Lauren, I too would prefer "all or nothing" as you put it, but Yahoo knows what gets clicks ($$), it's just a reflection. Do you think that if you got more people interested in practicing every major religion simultaneously (somewhat doubtful), or made more people disinterested in any of them, that might help you reach your goal?
E N having a variety of information to learn from is how we grow. Smart people are drawn to subjects they know little of because they thrist for new knowledge. Less intelligent people only click on what they know because it makes them comfortable by not exposition their limits.

Last time I checked Christianity was the dominant religion in the United States. So if you own a large news outlet. Example Yahoo news. Are you going to write your articles the most obscure religious group? No that would be bad business. Why because nobody would read it. Maybe you were unaware that this is a business?
