It's not a violation of the first or anyones rights however, clicking on the comment section is optional. You dont have to read them. They arent thrown in front of you without your choice. They should be there for the people that do use them. Yes, some comments are vile and absurd. And they are met with counter comments condemning what was posted. If it's too bad, you can report them by simply pushing a button or blocking the user. There are millions of comments posted everyday. Those millions are now complaining just as the anti comment people were. If yahoo thought there was alot of support to remove the comments, I'm sure they are now overwhelmed by a massive amount more of people who support the option to post and banter with other users

It is not a violation of 1st Amendment as Yahoo is a private company/platform. Yahoo is not Congress.
