Dark mode still unavailable in Basic - Yahoo being petulant about us hating 'New Mail'?

A simple #Dark mode' switch would takes seconds to implement on Basic Mail - why not do this?

    Stop automatically changing my email from classic to standard! It keeps happening every few months and I hate the new standard version. Happened again today ! And PLEASE bring back the dark option I have been using in classic (its missing now) I need my pages dark due to eye issues!

    Agree. Need dark mode in basic email. New email needs tp lose right hand window. Also, can't scroll through email anymore with arrow keys. Unread emails too hard to find. Need to do UX research before launching!!

    so worthless you want people to use your standard but it **** system and changes what my emails actually says. Keep it simple let me read my email and allow dark mode. Don't try and force things in my face thinking this is what is best your AI or code is not great so go back to do what ya do best.

    I've been using Yahoo as my default for 26 years. Why do they keep trying to mess with a good thing. I want to keep Basic but also dark mode.

    If this isn't changed. I'll be leaving Yahoo after 20+ years using the same email. This is not negotiable.

    I need a setting option to switch to a dark mode version of Basic Mail. Alternatively: a way to revert to the old mail interface — before the NEW so-called "Standard Version". Also, there is something despotic about wanting to impose a new interface ( for no apparent reason, but change-sake! ) when many, if not most, people were content with the old one. Makes me consider switching back to Outlook for my daily needs.

    Seriously. I don't know who OKed this new 'upgrade', but we need this 'upgrade' about as much as we need extra holes in the head. Yahoo Mail was PERFECT, and now it's basically unusable between the eye-searingly bright 'Dark' mode and the lack of organization. It's like you tried to copy Gmail with no concept of why Gmail works.

    Yahoo staff along with FBI, judges, cops, doctors, Ashley Moody attorney general, church leaders, lawyers, doctors, nurses, med techs, etc, need face consequences, working for human and drug traffickers, keeping victims of abuse silenced and isolated for more abuse, all under the guise of being a service to society. Where are there people trying to stop such abuse? Why is there no representation to stop such abuse?
