I have an Android tablet and the Yahoo app does not work it keeps blacking out completely so I'm using Yahoo through Chrome now why is this?

I have uninstalled it twice I have cleared my browsing data and my cashe and I have updated all apps , but the minute I pull up the app it just goes black.
