It is impossible to add a contact to a group in my contact list. The lists also show a person listed by email and phone number. What is that? If you look up a person, you can simply click on their name and find their phone number (if you entered it at some point). This new contacts "improvement" sucks and is unusable.

I don't like how they show up and I'm not able to move to a different folder. I'd like the old contact list back.

The contact lists I've used for 15+ years suddenly were truncated and changed. Some contacts were converted into multiple entries (one for phone, one for email, one for address), others removed completely. The new system does not let me add the contacts back that used to be on the list. There is no way to manually add their emails, and they will not come up in the search box no matter what I try. It makes no sense, and is entirely frustrating. My old faithful list is now useless! What in the world, yahoo!?

Yahoo has totally messed up with this new contact list!!!!! Names are alphabetized by first names, lists aren't alphabetized, everything is totally messed up!!!! I've used Yahoo mail for 14 years for our Community Watch program. It's useless to me now the way it is. With over 700 contacts, it's imperative I have my old contact list back. Clearly, I'm not alone on this. Within a month or two, I will have a G-mail account set up, and I'll be saying goodbye to this POS e-mail system.

I went into contacts, added and deleted to update. Inside an email, I ask for lists and it's not updated. So, so, frustrating. Don't know what to do to fix this and it looks like others have had the same issue.

Not a quick fix but I went back to Yahoo basic mail. Found under settings. Added new contact and/or edit a contact. Then I returned to the new Yahoo mail.

This new Contact format is impossible to work with, can't print contacts without exporting them to Excel.

This new format makes managing contacts impossible. If I create a contact on my phone I can't edit the properties on my computer. I'm having so many problems, I don't want to spend the time to list them all. Yahoo must create a better system to manage contacts.

Hate the new contact list, not user friendly AT ALL!! Very hard to edit or add/delete to lists. Why in the world would Yahoo make it so difficult. AWFUL!!!

I 100% agree, the current contact list design is completely useless, why on earth did you change it? I gave up and have to use another email provider.

I cannot get to my contacts at all unless I switch back to the basic mail. And now, once I choose a group, it will not let me enter those people into "send". Instead of checking off a box for the group, I have to start typing manually until a suggestion comes up. Glad my groups aren't so large that I can't recall who all the people are. Contacts is not as user-friendly as it was, especially when I click on the icon and it won't take me there.

When adding a contact it shows added and then when you go and look for the contact it is not there. You have a bug in your system that needs to be FIXED. Also why in the world when you changed to the new version did you do away with the First, Middle and Last Name for a contact. Did anyone test your new product before you rolled it out? If so you need to hire new testers because the new version is nothing like the old. The old version was much better!

I do not see a way to delete a list, even if it is empty
