MAILBOX REALESTATE: Font Sizing & Spacing Between Items
My biggest point of pain with Yahoo Mail is with regard to how much screen space you take up. Even with the MOST compact settings, there is too much wasted "white" space. Mostly my complaint is top and bottom space, as opposed to horizontal space.
Banner is wasting space - esp. the ribbon that goes all the way across below the part of the banner that contains the "Find messages" search box.
Folder list wastes space.
A. I used to be able to view all of my folders, but even with everything as compact as I can make it, I now have to scroll up and down to see my entire list of folders. (This is particularly problematic when new messages are directed to a folder by a rule, since there isn't a visual indication of an unread message unless I scroll down to see it!)
B. Tons and tons of wasted space between items in the folder list! And items I don't want or need, or that could be handled differently to give an entire extra line of visibility! For example, I don't need or want the "^ Less" indicator, at least not with it taking up and ENTIRE ROW of the folder list! Put it BESIDE the list, with a symbol - and a plus + symbol to expand and contract. Another example - I don't need or want the "Views". Another example - "Folders" takes up a whole row! Another example - "+ New Folder".
Please consider reworking this section (left side of app). In the mean time, could you more easily/quickly add a setting that is similar to what we have for "Inbox spacing" that applies to the folder list?
