There is a way to block email addresses or domains.
On the right side of the screen click the gear icon, and choose "more settings"
Click on "Privacy and Security"
You have a list of "Blocked addresses"
Click on the blue "+ add" then enter the address or domain you wish to block to the right of that column.I use "*@ac-orleans-tours.fr" (minus the quotes) as an example.
If you leave off the asterisk or the @ sign it will tell you "the address is invalid"
I have 680+ domains on my list (of 1000).
I usually have less than 30 in Yahoo's delete in 30 days "Spam folder" -
