My yahoo email was hacked today but l was able to recover it quickly because I linked my yahoo email to my phone and other email address. This is a good feature to recover your email but not good enough because once your email got hacked, the hacker can change your security setting. I therefore and highly recommend that when user is changing the security settings of yahoo email such as deleting the linked phone or email, it will notify the user that security setting is being altered. The notification will be sent out to all linked phones and email and confirmation is required. I hope this feature will soon be available in Yahoo Email to deter hackers and hacked emails can still be recovered by the original email owner. Thank you.
