Yahoo mail has too many steps to authenticate. I can check my outlook e-mail in a quarter of the time it takes to check yahoo; not joking. Actually did that. U start out signing in, I'm use to that. Then you authenticate via text, ok. That is y I have iMessage. But wait it isn't text, it is the yahoo weather app so I (must) drop everything I'm doing and go get my phone. Then I launch the yahoo weather app and it doesn't even give me a code because I waited too long searching for the phone. Fine u can authenticate differently. But then I must think of something else! Then I must do something else. Just stop it. This is not user friendly. I'm just trying to view mail over here; that's it! Don't like multitasking by force. Might I suggest signing in with biometrics? That is much faster and cuts through a lot of the unneeded steps. Windows Hello has been around since 15 and apple has touch/Face ID. Ur professionals working for yahoo. U should know that. I didn't sign up with Yahoo to waste more time doing extra steps. Authentication has too many steps. Lessen it, not for the security, for the users. Tech is supposed to make life easier, not harder.
