Every sent email is showing up as unread email
Every time I send or reply to an email, it shows up in my "sent" box as unread email. Never had this issue until updating yahoo on both android phone and iPads.

This is how it is with Yahoo. I have always had the problem when using my phones app instead of the Yahoo mail app. I don't like the Yahoo app, so I put up with this. I doubt this will ever be "fixed" since Yahoo wants you to use their technology.

I noticed this happening from about September 17-27, 2019, then it stopped for a few weeks and started up again at end of October 2019. I agree, it doesn’t happen when I use Yahoo webmail but happens when using Spark. Spark says they are just following instructions from Yahoo server when marking an email as read or unread. Agree with Anna and Barry. Vote to fix, Yahoo.

This seems to be the issue with any IMAP mail client (Apple Mail, Spark as well as Outlook), and only with Yahoo account. So the problem seems to be in how Yahoo handles imap/smtp requests. Vote for a fix!

This seems to only happen to messages (for me) with messages sent from Outlook. When I use the web-based email, it does not happen. What a pain!
