Put the contact list back they way it was!
I have wasted so much of my valuable time trying to add new contacts to my list. I have figured out how to delete a contact from a "list" but there is NO simple way to add a new contact to a specific "list" I am actually experiencing a mild panic attack at this moment! I also have not figured out how to print my existing contact list. Seriously yahoo! WTF are you doing!

Adding a new name to a contact list should be seamlessly simple. When I add a new contact and want to assign it to a list or when I want to add an existing contact to a list, I should just be able to check a box. Yahoo had it right for years. Please put it back the way it was. The excessively complicated email instructions don't work.

To get rid of the irritating ads, They want you to pay a monthly fee. What a rip off. Everyone is having the same problems. I tried to go back to Basi e-mail My Address Book was missing there as well. So much for Yahoo intellectuals.

My Address book disappeared. They saved 10 which were not my top 10. Suggestion: Go to COMPOSE and then TO. Type in the name of the person you want to send an e-mail to. The e-mail address will come up under their name. Write it down and then add to the new list on the right hand side of the screen. I haven't figured out how to edit or delete. But at least you can get your friends and family from wherever they went.

Before the new version I used to be able to create a list and add contacts to it. But now I can't do either, create a new list or add to an existing list. What was Yahoo thinking and why haven't they fixed it.
Even when I switch to the classic version it is no longer the same. What is going on?

They have, for some reason, created an annoying side bar on the right for contacts. To add a new one, look at the bottom, there is a link that says add new contact.

Not only can't I add or edit contacts, but I can't even FIND them. When I didn't see a certain person in the contacts column, I typed their name into the SEARCH box in contacts, and it said NO MATCHING CONTACTS FOUND. WTF???????

Please make it to where I can add users back to my distribution lists. I can find them in contacts, but when I attempt to add them to my lists they do not load. Its horrible trying to use it now.

I Could Not Agree More!
Why do they insist on changing things when it's working?

Seems like yahoo wants us to move to another email provider! Likely not the case though, more likely just Routine Yahoo! incompetence.
the more features they ***** up, the more likely we should begin to move away from these maliciously incompetent developers
I'm trying gmail, and another option is to use yahoo mail w/ a mail client like apple mail. -

Does anyone at Yahoo even look at these comments? I cannot find a way to edit my contacts! This is insane! Are you trying to force us all to abandon our email accounts and go to Gmail??

How do you people in Yahoo keep your jobs? When you make changes, you make things worse. Your "HELP" is useless. I can't find answers as to how change or fix anything. And this venting is useless and a waste of time. Hello GMAIL?

I hate the new email. I have refreshed, the contact shows in contacts yet I can't add to a list. There is too long of a lag between adding contacts and being able to add to a list. I want to do it immediately. Yahoo needs to listen.

I agree!! Adding people to a "list" used to be easy. Now I can't figure out how to do it. I hate the new "Contacts" edit feature.
