Oh my goodness, having the ads at the top of my inbox (or at the top of any folder) as if it were an actual email is REALLY annoying. It prevents me from being able to see quickly and easily what important, relevant emails I do have, which costs me time and energy. The aggravation is pushing me back to using a different (free!) email provider, which still has ads, but they're relegated to the margins and not trying to blend in with legitimate emails.
Please change the way you do advertisements!

Activate a program called "Ad Block Plus" and you'll eliminate almost all of the advertisement.

Not about to pay $4 a month after the "trial" after you've gone from a non-advertising email service, to asking us to white-list, to incessantly dogging us to white-list.

I am seriously considering closing ALL yahoo accounts ! I will NOT BUY from any online add that is in my inbox or pops up, EVER. When I do buy online it is because I need something from a vendor I have a relationship with already.

You can't get rid of them without an act of Congress, and most of them are offensive, I.e. pushing Marijuana businesses, and a waste of space and my time. All it is to Yahoo is a potential money maker, when to this customer, it is just annoying and makes me angry!
