With all the SERIOUS ISSUES facing the USA, now IS NOT the time to be taking down your Public Commenting options. I would see and understand this to be helping those FORCES who are seeking to CHANGE, CONTROL and ELIMINATE OUR CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED LIBERTY / FREEDOM.

    I believe the intention of YAHOO NEWS is not to temporarily shut off commenting but to PERMANENTLY ELIMINATE their long held provision for public commenting. Commenting is the only way that they can be held accountable and face corrections for information that is biased or just plain incorrect.
