Anti-Meatless Articles Do Not Merit High Profile in Yahoo News
I have repeatedly seen articles in Yahoo News lately that are advising people to not eat meatless products, as meat alternatives, based upon "health" issues. This is morally wrong because the advocacy for meatless consumption, such as PETA, is based upon "ethics." The American diet is centered around meat and is very high in protein derived from this consumption. But, at the very least, what's wrong with eating 7 meat burgers and 3 meatless burgers as regular consumption based upon ethics to reduce cruelty to the billions of animals slaughtered each year. There is no obvious health issue here. No one is deprived of protein and there is likely an increase in fiber (meat has no fiber).
