Yahoo "Customer Care" is one of the worst I've ever had to deal with!
Seriously, it seems like I've been getting replies by bots, and not real people (actually, that's probably true!)
I have a serious issue - Yahoo has told me that my account, email, etc will be deleted because I'm in China. Note, however, that I use a .au Yahoo account, and I use a VPN to access it - so at the moment, I'm actually going through Panama.
I can appreciate Yahoo pulling out of China - and I even agree with it! But, that shouldn't automatically mean all accounts that have been accessed from China should be removed.
I have emailed the Customer Care, but all I get is repeated copy & paste rubbish that is in no way helpful! I was told that I need to access Yahoo from outside China - which, given a VPN, that's what I (and, I suspect, tens of thousands of others) have been doing - for quite some time! I even sent a copy of an email from Yahoo about a "suspicious log-in attempt" from a Swedish IP address - which was then followed by the "You must log in from outside China:... WTF Yahoo????? (I'll also add here - that email which I sent showing the suspicious log in attempt - the CC representative did not even mention it in their reply to it in any way!
I've been told repeatedly that the CC people will forward my complaint to someone else... and yet, I never, ever ever hear back!
Yahoo - get your act together!!!! Hire some real people who actually understand customer service, and who can reply intelligently to customer issues!
