Stop deleting comments that "break the rules" without specifying what rule is being broken. Yahoo is censoring free speech because it doesn't align with their political views.

Couldn't agree more. At least let people know exactly which comment(s) is(are) deemed "inappropriate". I have seen some very terrible comments - but I guess the moment someone reports someone for something that person don't like - then Yahoo goes into panic mode. I promise to behave so please restore my "privilege" of being able to comment on your "articles" and news. Thanks

They censor heavily, even on posts that in no way violate terms of service.

As of yesterday, Mar. 8th, all comments, on any story, that I have attempted to post, no matter how benign, has been blocked stating 'rejected due to community guidelines violation'. I do not understand what is going on.

I wrote a non-sided comment in response with no dragging down any person in the comments, nor any name calling and some "bot" said that my comment could be taken as offensive. I ready over it again and in no way could it be taken although I did state that some people slander the name of Fox News or MSNBC in their comments. But a person who was commenting a few away were calling people idiots. My comment wasn't accepted, and I don't know why. This is silly and not reasonable.

Absolutely. There is no consistency to what is being blocked. You can literally write the same comment as the one above in a comment section and it will get blocked. I`m used to Yahoo being completely incompetent but it takes some SERIOUS effort to **** up a language filter that badly.

My comments are always rejected, even though they do not violate Yahoo guidelines. The Yahoo filter is flawed, and there is no way that I can find to have this corrected.

Was in a yahoo article about Apple products and passwords being stolen.
One commenter said
"People do it to themselves. Take Better care of your stuff"I commented
"Changed my 6S+ I bought in 2015 for the 14 Pro Max September 2022...
Simply because my screen finally broke July 2022
I got my stuff handled (thumbs up)"What community guideline did I break???

I was just checking on some stories I commented on and got a "This comment is unavailable at this time" message for comments that posted with no problems.
Also notable, even though they were heavily commented on articles, there were now only a few.
ALSO notable, suddenly my feed is filled with tons of fox"news" stories I do not want. I have them on my "Show Less" list, and still they pour in.
ALSO notable, the little x we used to be able to check for "Show Less" is now gone altogether.
I detest fox. If this keeps up, I have no choice but to migrate to (shudder) MSN.
That's too many events to be a coincidence. Something was changed at Yahoo to allow all this.As far as the rejecting comments due to words on the bad words filter goes, yes, it is goofy sometimes, but there is the simplest solution that Yahoo refuses to implement.
How hard can it be to put in a mechanism that SHOWS YOU THE WORD IN QUESTION?!?
Then we can edit it out & find another. I have spent up to 10 minutes editing & re-submitting before I found the word. -

Yahoo needs to fire their filter techs for being complete and total ******* imbeciles. There was a discussion about the similarities between WWII and the war in Ukraine about the way Russia was treating it's soldiers and I wrote " Yep and Russia is doing the same thing again to their soldiers in Ukraine, fight or we'll shoot you." and it was summarily rejected.

My comments are automatically rejected saying they go against the guidelines. There is no way most or all of my comments would go against the guidelines!

My comment was flagged because I stated that someone graduated with a college degree *** laude. Have to spell out Bachelor of Science instead of using BS in front of a major. <SEE THAT? THEY FLAGGED THE WORD USED TO INDICATE SOMEONE GRADUATED WITH DISTINCTION!! ISN'T THAT CRAZY????
Also I can't seem to use the words race, racial, racist, murderer, immature, infantile, violent, or many words that Yahoo would post in the articles. Why can't you review comments for their actual context rather than flag words that people would use to discuss the article they read. You even have articles that post actual curse words and you have the audacity (can I say that?) to flag users for their comments!

The comment I made probably had the initials BS and to mean *********, yes I said it, but the left can post **** and I try to do things without saying the whole words. I have seen other say, but my **** keeps getting deleted. This is a Left sided comment section, No respect for the opposing side. Its getting old to see them blatantly put their leftist **** out there and we can not counter them with out being rejected at every corner. That is ANTI freedom of speech and it needs to stop NOW !!!

This is absolutely true.... and i believe that yahoo follows our individual accounts once a post has been deleted and continues to delete other post that a
do not violate polices -

Yes - it's ********. Explain yourself, Yahoo.
Your comment on Nobel economist Paul Krugman says Elon Musk's bizarre Twitter antics and 'lack of impulse control' have accelerated Tesla's inevitable demise as a market leader violates the community guidelines and has been rejected

Yahoo doesn't like any comment that goes against their liberal beliefs or anyone who even asks questions of them. Post a comment on here and your automatically censored.
