I'm not going to whitelist you in adblocker. If you keep dropping features and making it harder to use, I'll switch to GMail.
Alienating customers is a bad idea. You have too many ads so I put on adblocker. Now you are cutting features and functionality. Keep it up and I'll switch to GMail.

Verizon Wireless suggested installation of AdBlocker to quit having Ads ***** up the stability of my computer's software. I'm not changing that for YAhoo. I do have a GMail account, and will use it if you want me to leave YAHOO after using it satisfactorily since the 1990s!

Unfortunately, the company I've been working for signed their email up to yahoo before I had a say in the decision. Now that I control the email for my department, I will be switching from yahoo to literally anything else because of this. Seriously, who even uses yahoo anymore? I ditched yahoo when i got out of middle school..

Yep, definitely switching gmail. Not worth staying to get forced to pay for email. It was a good run.

I'm sick of it that pop up and every time you have to opt out on it go back to basic email it makes me start all over on whatever i was doing. It sucks

I AM switching, right now, but I was curious how poorly Yahoo was handling this, and as I thought, they're basically shooting themselves in the foot.
Total idiots must run this company.
You're losing users because your ads are trash, your journalism is garbage, and your users are racist. So you **** everyone off by REPEATEDLY taking them back to their inbox with an annoying popup? That seemed like good practice?
If I ever meet someone who works for Yahoo I'll make sure to speak using small words, like I'm talking to a toddler.

You have no right to tell me to turn off my adblocker. That's my personal decision to use it. Just FYI, I can't concentrate when I have ads screaming in my face. That's why I turn them off. Imagine sitting at your computer with someone standing next to you constantly sticking their hands in your face while you're trying to read. That's EXTREMELY annoying which why I, and every other adblock user uses them. I'm not against you advertising to make money, I'm against how overly aggressively you display them. This culture of annoy the hell out of your user in hopes they'll get frustrated and finally pay to not be annoyed is like paying a bully at school to stop bullying you. It does not make me want to pay you for your service. It pisses me off and makes me want to seek out either a similar service free with no ads, or seek out a reputable service that doesn't follow this really backwards 21st century business model and pay them for their service instead of yours.

I guess that's the idea, yahoo wants to get rid of us. I will be leaving as soon as I get the time to inform my select group of contacts, ********* yahoo!

If in mail you continue to display the box that says... "I see that your ad blocker is on"... I will switch to Gmail as well. It complicates reading my mail and eats up a lot of extra time by having to go to basic mail. Just allow me to maintain my mail with basic.

Agreed with Donna B Kilinskis and Silvu Cristian: Yahoo has changed to worse, thinking to leave it.

I'm not going to whitelist in adblocker, and for the annoying pop-up, I'm switching to GMAIL and closing my yahoo account. F*** you yahoo! Goodbye!

I'm switching email addresses. This is so time consuming and stupid, but I'll do it so I don't have to constantly click on "go back to basic email" constantly. I never asked to not have basic email. I hate the biased news too, so there is no good reason to stay.
