Autorouting emails to Trash
I am such a lucky lad. Every day between thirty and sixty emails arrive in my spam folder, each replete with photos of bulging breasts and sometimes also the occasional picture of a landing pad. Strange though; same hundred photos of the same sets of breasts, but every day their names change, sometimes several times in the same day. The satisfaction comes in blocking the sender email addresses en masse.
However, the thought does occur that there should be a more efficient way of handling these. What if, in addition to the ability to block 1,000 email addresses and 500 domains, there was the also option to specify 100 cases of phrases, each of up to five words or x number of characters long, which if matched to the subject and/or any part of the content of an incoming email would result in that email being automatically placed in the Trash folder?
Thus anything with "What's up man?" in the subject line is auto-delivered to Trash, as also would anything with "Hi babe" in either the subject line or the content. Other phrases that would be up for configuration would be "Hey ****", "let's chat", "invited you", "hookup", "miles away" and "gals waiting". You get the picture.
As regards a specification, add up to 100 lines, each with a box for the phrase followed by separate tick-boxes for first the subject line, and then the email content, enabling the ability to select either or both as spam and phishing patterns change.
Examples: :dear stranger" subject tick content tick.
The addition of this functionality would result in an amazing reduction in the daily size of my spam folder, and provide me with even more to laugh at than even the current case.
