Subscriptions Folder
It seems I'm lucky enough now to have a new mandatory email folder called subscriptions. Here there is a catalogue of the email addresses that I will accept regular emails from on a x per week basis.
This functionality is falling a bit short of what is required because I'm not aware of having agreed to any of these regular updates. So some I'm happy with but most I'm not because here also are all the email addresses that I do not want emails from for whatever dubious or malicious purpose they are peddling. Fix that my primary address is compromised when sending an email from an iPhone using my alias address
When I send an email with the Apple Mail app on my iPhone using my alias address, two lines in the raw message data show my primary address: Return-Path: and X-Sonic-MF:
These two lines should show my alias address.

stop sending spam (rewards) emails
Alleged "rewards" emails from Yahoo are nothing but ads for services I didn't request.
I had to add block info@premiumservices.comms.yahoo.net as I was receiving "Get your premium user rewards" emails every 2 weeks.
I never agreed to any subscriptions (had already opted out before I went premium).
Paying for premium shouldn't include spam from Yahoo.

Yahoo has evidently lost the spam war
Spam has never been a concern with my paid Yahoo account which always performed very well, but something has changed now, and not for the better. In recent weeks my account is inundated with obvious, phony-looking phishing and spam messages from zillion-character gmail addresses, some of whom even use body part words in the subject line (really!?). While I dutifully move them to the Spam folder, nothing happens, and I receive the same messages from the same senders again, and again, week after week. What on Earth has happened at Yahoo? Why do I keep getting an erroneous "No Internet Connection" message
I randomly get a No internet connection message. The only way to resolve seems to be to shut down Yahoo and reload.

Add capability to download Yahoo Notepad notes
Really want a way to download Yahoo Notepad notes. There is currently no way to do this except by manually copying and pasting the text into another application.

PLEASE give a choice about saving in drafts when I delete an email without sending!
Every time I start a new email and change my mind and delete it, you automatically save it into my drafts folder. My other email programs ask me first if I want to save it. PLEASE do this! My drafts folder is a mess.

Lists in alphabetical order....sure would be nice!
My Yahoo address is my business email. And I've been using it full time since around 2000. So, I have 191 lists that aren't in alphabetical order. When will you guys put lists is alpha order? Isn't that basic? It can't be that hard to write the script. I'll help you! My goodness. All was fine until the "new" Yahoo was forced upon us about 5 years ago.
p.s. We also used to be able to click on a contact, and we could see what list(s) the contact was in.

Camp Lejeune emails are absolutely out of control
This is out of control. I have an average of 15 of these spam emails a day. I cannot get rid of them...I pay for the premium service and there is no way to control it. Yahoo needs a Camp LeJeune filter to stop this

Read Messages should be in Bold
Read Messages should be Bold but in another color, like Red, or should be able to change the little dot color on read messages but keep title in bold. Un-Bolded messages are harder for many of us to see.

FILTER SPAM TO MOVE TO SPAM FOLDER, AS AN OPTION. THE ONLY CURRENT OPTION IS TRASH. IF IN THE TRASH, THEY STILL GET THROUGH AND CAN HACK YOUR COMPUTER. SPAM IS SPAM!!!

Spam getting into my inbox, legit emails sent to my spam folder
A large number of spam e-mails I have been indicating as spam keeps getting into my inbox while legit emails I get from my contacts keep getting sorted out to my spam folder. I have contacted yahoo about the issue and checked everything they suggested, but nothing worked. At the end I got a message stating that "we are aware of the issue". This was half a year ago and the issue remains. Is yahoo expecting us to migrate to another e-mail provider? Why are we paying for yahoo mail plus?
