    Why ask if it's not needed??
    Is it just to try and get more data on us?? I really don't care nothing to hide I just thought it was important because they were asking.

    There is no real security reason why yahoo wants my birth date, and scammers really want it, yahoo is aiding and abetting in helping scammers
