PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE, go back to the "Yahoo Finance Classic" display. Biggest fault of good management/managers is fixing what isn't broken.

Sent an email to Yahoo Finance customer service expressing many of the same sentiments in these comments, and asked to please provide a way to get back to classic landing page...
Their response tells you all you need to know about Yahoo, and their lack of customer service:
"I understand that you need assistance reverting to the classic version of Yahoo Finance. No worries, I'll do my best to assist you accordingly.
We understand that changes can be challenging, especially when you're accustomed to a specific way of navigating the platform. Your experience and preferences are important to us, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to let us know how you feel.
As we roll out the new version of Yahoo Finance throughout November and December, we encourage all users to transition to this updated interface moving forward. The new version offers enhanced features and improvements designed to elevate your experience.
I know that this is not what you hope to hear and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience."

I don't understand why you destroy a brand built over years like this.

Congratulations on the disaster. Perfect!!! I would immediately fire all the people who participated in it. Where did the mind and eyes go?
A 15-year-old boy did it during a school break? Without anyone testing it in real practice.
This is not user friendly. This is all against the user. There is no other option but to throw it in the trash. And turn back on the old version.
It's not just about a side pointer that has nothing to look for.
Both indentation and spacing are bad.
Visibility is bad.
The optical orientation is bad.
Everything is against the user.
When someone has more tickers, it is necessary to wait for loading while scrolling.
Everything is counterintuitive. Nothing can be found.
What could be set before is no longer possible.
It is necessary to move to the sides.
It is necessary to scroll up / down.
What could be seen before cannot be seen now.
What could be done before with the settings is now not possible.
The daily increase % shows twice.
I don't see a chart for the year there.
It's a lot of mistakes.

I was a long time user of Yahoo Finance... a customer since the late 1990s. I left when Verizon took over, and royally f*cked all of the original products.
I came back in 2020, when I found that the classic Yahoo Finance was up and running again.
But now the new owner, Global Media Management, have headed down the same deadend road as Verizon... apparently have chosen to once again destroy the finance platform most people want, and instead, replace it with this **** Commonstock platform that they bought in Aug 2023.
And yes, they are NOT good innovators - they just insist on destroying the products they have that actually work. This company just seems to insist that it’s going to go the way of MySpace.

New version can't be worse. It's not usable at all, what you were thinking when releasing this piece of ...? Been using Yahoo finance for years and been forced now to start using something else

A bunch of techie geeks at Yahoo who think they have to impress their managers, and the shareholders, by rolling-out something "new" every so often.
Doesn't matter that the original platform worked just fine and was what most people wanted.
Doesn't matter that the "new and improved" upgrade is a pile of sh*t that no one can use.
It just shows that the people running Yahoo now don't give a fu*k about the people who actual use their products.
I suspect that it's actually just a away for them to force us to pay for the Yahoo Finance products now.

Since yahoo wont acknowledge our outcry's, I'm currently testing the free version of Seeking Alpha as my replacement for yahoo finance. First impressions, they have wide columns for all my custom stock info, and as an added bonus, Seeking Alpha has dark mode!

Amen! This garbage not only sucks when it works, but doesn't work half the time! EVERTHING, EVERY CHANGE MADE makes the site WORSE, not better! They obviously do not use their own product!

Can you make the print a little smaller so I can't read it and will have to go to another web site to view my financial information?

The "Back to Classic" button is NO longer available. It use to be far bottom right above the Terms and Privacy link. The classic view was great, you could add notes to your stocks, you could see all the columns you wanted, without scrolling, you could mouse hover over your notes and they would pop up to read....everything was better before. Need some ideas from others on a better website to get all this...my Fidelity account website sucks too, so I used Yahoo Finance to keep track of my stocks.

The new view is absolutely terrible. The worst downgrade Yahoo! could have done - The classic view was soooo good - was fast, and simple to use...The new view lacks performance, most screens don't work properly..charts are stuck...It's terrible. Please give back the old classic view!

The "Modern View" is a TRAIN WRECK. Can't see my whole portfolio, have to scroll like crazy to see columns and rows. Can't make sense or evaluate the data - Losing money and opportunities. BRING BACK CLASSIC VIEW TODAY or hundreds of thousands of users will abandon Yahoo Finance.
