PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE, go back to the "Yahoo Finance Classic" display. Biggest fault of good management/managers is fixing what isn't broken.

Ryan CM you are 100% right. I have 300 tickers and this garbage is unusable for work. See below what they wrote to me from YAHOO. Apparently it's new and that's why we have a problem with it, we have to get used to it.

Please, at least, restore the "Classic" format for desktops.

Agree 100%. The new format sucks. Definitely want Classic option. If not Classic, please give us much more customization options.

The flaws with the new portfolio views are inconceivable. How could they go this far backwards? Even the most basic stuff is flawed. I have multiple portfolios, some with as many as 40 tickers in them. Enough that you have to scroll vertically to go through them all. The headers for the columns scroll off the screen so you can't see the labels for them on the stocks at the bottom of the portfolio. This is basic usability and ergonomics stuff that should be a no-brainer.
Then there is the horizontal scrolling. My old views had lots of columns so I could see all the information I wanted on a stock in one view. The new view has blank white margins that take up about 40% of my screen real estate and I have to scroll horizontally to see all the data in my custom view. And of course, when you scroll horizontally, you lose the ticker symbol off to the left, so you don't know what stock you are looking at. Requiring horizontal scrolling is bad enough, but not being able to see which ticker the data is associated with is absolutely, inconceivably, moronically bad. (Edit: It looks like the tickers scrolling off to the left has been fixed. They are staying visible now. Maybe there is hope that Yahoo is actually trying to fix this hot mess...)
Then there is the decrease in news density. On the old view, I could scroll through lots more news articles with a nice listing of which tickers they were associated with. With 40 tickers in a portfolio, there is lots of news to scroll through. The new format shows about 1/8th the number of headlines in a given screen view.
Yahoo- this isn't a case of your users just grumbling about a subjective change to the interface. This is objectively bad. There are fatal flaws. I'm upset because this is now unusable for me and I need to find a new portfolio tracker after 25 years of using yahoo. I just found a new replacement for My Yahoo (Protopage) due to the changes you made there that got rid of all of the best parts of My Yahoo. Hopefully there is a better alternative to the new yahoo finance as well.

As we roll out the new layout of Yahoo Finance, we encourage our users to utilize it. I know that it is overwhelming to see a lot of changes that have happened on Yahoo Finance, since you are already used to the old view. But we are working to provide a user-friendly and the best layout for our members to take advantage of the features that our engineering team has been working on to benefit you in the future. So the fault lies with us, we cannot appreciate the new quality. I recommend that we share options where everything works.

Undo this new format. Why would you remove the ability to see pre and post market movement within the watchlists?! I'm not clicking on every holding to see that information. As many have stated, don't "fix" what isn't broken.
None of this should be a surprise as you know how many people were clicking on "Back to Classic" when that was an available option. You've ruined the only thing keeping me visiting any form of a Yahoo product.

What a condescending response from customer service. "We understand that changes can be challenging"? Nothing like blaming the user for a bad user interface.
