52 week range in custom view is now just numbers and no longer a slider.
if I wanted the numbers I could individually add 52 week low and 52 week high. The slider gives me a visual where I can quickly make a visual determination of where a price is within the range.

Yet another poor design choice made without consulting (or asking) actual users what we want/need.

Interestingly, this column is still in the screener results list. So it’s not like the object has been eliminated. Just needs to be resurfaced for selection in view customization.

Completely Agree! The slider was way better than anything the competitor sites provide and you took it away! Poor business decision so bring it back!

Please bring back the 52-week slider and also (I'm not seeing this mentioned here) the identical "today's prices" slider too. Both of these provided utterly essential, at-a-glance information that a list of raw numbers doesn't come close to duplicating.
(And no, the day chart is not a substitute for the day slider...if you believe that you should stay 50 miles away from any design decision because you clearly don't trade.)

The slider is essential for quick overview of the current price level of all stocks. The day range is also a "must" as well.

Its says a lot about the Yahoo "design" team that they'd get rid of the sliders (not even allowing them as an option!), believing that some listing of raw numbers provide the same information.
(How can it be an "improved experience" when you get rid of one of the most useful, quick-to-grasp, cleanly-designed features of the site? Someone needs to sit down with some Edward Tufte books and learn visual data presentation all over again.)

Completely agree with the OP here. The 52 Week Range Slider was an excellent and very useful visual reference to quickly see what Securities were at a value within the 52 Week Low - High range. Now I have to open a chart of each Security to see that visual and it's extremely time consuming and annoying. Please restore this feature.

The old version showed the 52 week LOW, 52 week HIGH and had a dot graph to show where it is now. Without the where it is now information, it is nearly impossible to look at a page full of stocks and see where they are at now compared to 52 week hi/low. PLEASE BRING BACK THE GRAPH VERSION...

100%. Why such a simple thing would be taken away is beyond me.

A visual slider on 52 week range provides a quick portfolio glance on which stocks are distressed or top. Please restore the visual slider for 52 week range.

completely agree, the old graphical slider was far superior as a rapid visual reference
