the new design is horrible
The new finance page is bloatware. The right pane is a royal pain as it is a total waste of pixels taking up other useful screen space. If the classic view goes away, I'll stick with Schwab finance. Not as good as Yahoo classic, but far, FAR better than the "new, poorly thought out and not used by investors" format.

Let me also add that Fidelity Active Trader Pro focuses on productivity, not "what looks good, balanced"). You can also get good screen grids in Power E*TRADE Pro and Swab Think or Swim

(I am a software engineer with 35yrs experience) The new "my holdings" grid design is far less than optimal. Clearly those that designed the screen/grid are NOT investors. The right-side bar is memory intensive, takes up valuable screen real estate, after the portfolio is open serves no purpose, hides 10-12% of my listed fields. Blank real estate on the right and left of the grid takes up 20% of the screen hiding 20% of my list fields...WHY!!. Grid fields can come to view by using bottom slider, but the user loses the top grid headings to get to the slider! Plz freeze the grid headings while scrolling. These are 1st year developer errors.

Absolutely hate the new design as well. Why change a great thing?? makes no sense. Looking for another finance website now.

Agreed! the fact I can't use the real estate in my large monitors as the new design doesn't expand to include 100% of the screen, makes the new design a deal braker. The right pane exacerbates the problem, as it takes extra space, without adding value, it just duplicates the same info. Looking for alternatives right now after decades using yahoo.
