The Yodel
I guess I stumbled on to the Finance feedback page, which is supposed to be The Yodel feedback page.
I just wanted to point out a veritable bait and switch in the Mar. 23, 2026 issue at the end with the "Today in History" talking about the origin of the word/shortening of "OK" in the Boston Post, but putting up a newspaper clipping that didn't highlight that, but the much more hilatious title article of the Boston Molasses Tank explosion.
It was like the word "OK was somehow used in that article, but apparently that was never the story at all.
I was hoping that it was somehow connected to the Boston Molasses Tank explosion. While a tragic incident, I don't think there are many parallels to it on this date in US history and it was a unique accident that seems to not coincide with the first use of the phrase "OK" at all.
Not saying it wasn't OK to point out "OK", but maybe highlight that part of that day's distribution that used the phrase "OK"?
