You’re right to flag this. Since regular symbols add successfully in both Chrome and Edge, this is specific to custom $$ symbols, not a general browser issue.

Yahoo Finance’s documented method is still to enter a custom symbol such as $$CASH in the “Find a Quote” field and press Enter. Since that does nothing for you, please report it as a Yahoo Finance bug through the Yahoo Finance Feedback Forum:

Include that regular symbols work, but $$CASH and other $$ custom symbols cannot be added in Chrome or Edge, and that the Add link remains inactive.
