I don't have an ad blocker but I am being told to remove mine. Yahoo mail is a mess!
Return to old mail!

This is BS. Upgraded to newer version and it doesn't work. I don't have any ad blocker programs / extensions running at all. Then I have to login to use this stupid tool, but It already has my user name on the screen. Did Musk's crew write this new app?

Same here. Firefox and other browsers do basic-level adblocking on default to prevent malicious ads. The new Yahoo Mail needs to make a layout for ads that aren't susceptible to the most basic of web browser protections. This wasn't an issue in the old layout, so apparently they missed the mark on developing the new layout.
