An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Morton commentedplease please pretty please! ditch zuckerbergs meta-scam and bring back the first social media company...yahoo.com! trust me on this, hire me as your director of yahoo pages and soon facebook will be out of business...also i have a bunch of cool new ideas, both to help with preventing the platform being taken over by scammers and helping people migrate to 'yahoo pages' from facebook. there is no reason why yahoo cannot win the social media race for the next few years...i can help, let me get you back on track...yahoo used to be so awesome, just ask any user with an account as old as mine - it is this yahoo of old that i miss so much...it was this yahoo of old that inspired zuckerberg to make facebook in the first place, it is also the yahoo of old that cause google to be made...incidentally the top men of alphabet, meta and amazon are all in the same age group as me, and you'll probably find that they all have yahoo accounts from way back when....

yes i am with you on this, and yahoo chat rooms too...actually check out my post on uservoice...please add your vote....i am seeking an alternative to facebook and can definitely imagine yahoo usurping facebook as a social media platform...what we need is a place to be on social media, minus the scams and endless intrusive advertising. also a customizable page would be good too, kinda like yahoo 360 (mid 2000's) or geopages (late '90's) where we can personalize our online presence...choose our own look and feel, layouts etc....all the good things of facebook, minus all the intrusion, plus a whack of customization and some bonus features to make a yahoo social media platform safe from scammers, bots, notification fatigue and things we dont need...yahoo needs to reclaim its crown as king of the internet!
