I posted that one cannot be classified as being British unless they have a British passport by law. Why was it deleted?
I am a pensioner. I am not vindictive in anyway shape or form far from it. But when some of my posts are deleted I simply do not understand the reasoning behind it. Could someone please be so good as to explain what I am doing wrong.

^0 year old Decorated Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Veteran Stephen Taylor of Bury, Gtr Manchester loses his dole money because he sold poppies. He's now in rent arrears etc due to the benefit cuts. Full story in the Daily Star, 6th December 2013 Page 33, top right including picture. This man fought for the country and instead of sitting back doing nothing he tried to help the RBL raise funds for other veterans. DWP say he was working - so how come they send people to work at Poundland for nothing to earn their dole money yet this Brave Veteran…

How about a proper checked use of report not lettign it be used to censor
many dont use to report feauture to report posts just with put downs. they use it to cheat to appear to be winnign the argument by removing opposing points especailly when they are backed with a strong arguemnt and evidence and reasoning. (also if they have links to proof)
This is clearly in the wrong and most of those doign this are guilty themselves or what they are reporting.
This results in somone in the right who backs their arguments solidly loosing their emila whilst the real trolls who only come to abuse others pickign out spelling, or just name…

"Report Abuse" confirmation option.
It should be a requirement to confirm your actions if you click on the "Report Abuse" in the comments section. I have on more than one occasion, managed to click on this accidentally and reported a perfectly acceptable comment as abuse. It needs a "do you want to report this comment?" dialogue pop up for confirmation. I am sure I am not the only person to do this, and it will happen more frequently as more people move to touch screens and press it while scrolling down the page.

adverts
Please give us the option of turning off full page adverts. They are terrible cpu hogs, especially that awful world war z one. The film is rubbish and nobody cares about it.

More ads than news... too intrusive
Ideas: You will probably be familiar with these anyway
1. Ads loading with news tabs, ie. (waiting for... loading... transferring... etc.) skip after 10 seconds if they don't load quickly enough so news item can be loaded.
2. Allow skip ads after 10 seconds before a clip.
3. Ad before every clip… very annoying.
I'm sure you get the gist.

Stop unsolicited emails marked "Sponsored".
Unsolicited emails marked "Sponsored" have recently started appearing in my Yahoo mail inbox, in contravention of my advertising opt-out cookie. These emails do not have a tickbox for selection and reporting to Yahoo as spam. Yahoo should put a stop to this or at the very least make sure these emails can be selected for reporting as spam.

take off the sponsored advert in the email page, or at least move it.
Please take off the sponsored advert in the email page, the one at the top of the inbox, it's just annoying. As it's annoying, I certainly won't click the link, so it defeats the purpose of your advertising in the first place. I'm happy to see advertising, and use it when it's useful, but this is simply pointless.

Yahoo, are You Breaking the Trade Descriptions Act?
Yahoo, I am signed into Yahoo UK so why are my news threads focusing on the world news and issues?
My main aim is to see British news at a glance, I now have to trawl through a mountain of irrelevant stories that I have no interest in what-so-ever to access any UK news.
If you have changed to Yahoo World News could you please inform me?
When you are advertising Yahoo Uk then it should be Yahoo Uk, when you are not what it says on the box, then surely there are serious questions to be answered.66th ranked -

Please Censor Your Reporters
To liken people to Zombies is wholly inappropriate, I have never seen any such reporting when typhoons and floods have hit Pakistan and Bangladesh.
These people have been through ****, they have lost all worldly posessions, most only have the clothes they stand up in, they have lost friends and family, they have lost everything and no insurance policies to help rebuild their lives.
This is real life, not fiction and should be reported as such, the analogy of likening these people to Zombies is totally unacceptable, it's not headlining, it's shabby journalistc reporting.91st ranked -

revise ads
Hi, I am reading your news on a daily basis. In the First 10 lines I get 3 ads suggesting to risk my family's life for some stupidity hack against traffic rules, Learn a new language in a week.
Are you seriously on this level???
I am very disappointed to see these inputs, as I thought that Yahoo has a serious opinion on the worlds events.
Put a plastic bad on your mirror?????
Put a bottle of water on your tires?????
Is this your level???Please update the quality of your ads. If you are associated to all these things,…

Article Feedback
Just to say, how disappointed I am that Yahoo has stopped giving readers a chance to reply at the bottom of the articles. Clearly Yahoo no longer wishes to engage with it's audience. Is this because you don't want to hear how the readers feel because it doesn't fit the narrative? Is it that you wish for readers to feel isolated and alone in their responses with no voice to speak out? Either way, it sadly shows a deterioration in your service and that your news doesn't actually take into account true public feeling anymore. So when you state that…

Scottish Newspapers
I enjoy reading your articles but I only see English newspapers featured reporting on Scottish news (Guardian, Independent, Telegraph etc). May I ask that you include all British newspapers e.g. Herald, Scotsman, Courier, Press & Journal.
Thank you.185th ranked -
