Hi, please let us know how we can improve further.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Please STOP the pages scrolling!

It really is irritating, when going onto different threads you have to put up with the pages scrolling up and down. Please can you fix this A.S.A.P, as it's becoming a problem Thank you.

    Hi,

Our Engineering team is currently looking into this issue. I appreciate your patience as we work on resolving this issue, and apologize once again for any inconvenience.

    Thank you again,
    Yahoo! Product Support

  2. Please no more Kardashians or Klass

I even wrote by snail mail to you about your obsession with Myleene Klass and her non advice. You did not even write back to me, how rude!
Now the emphasis has shifted to Kim and co. I dont dislike anyone in particular but I just dont care, and neither does nayone else.... except yahoo. WHY? I honestly think that the Kardashians pay yahoo to feature them.

  3. Improve the quality of journalism

Yahoo really needs to improve the quality of its staff journalism, the fact that Sky News are poor isn't an excuse. Yahoo should proof read all articles before publication for accuracy, correct spelling, good grammar, proper use of language and higher quality content, all of these points are especially important as younger readers see bad spelling, grammar and content as a model for their own work. In general, the quality of Internet journalism is highly questionable and leads me to suspect that many so called "internet journalists" are either untrained, unqualified or just rank amateurs who would never secure and…

  4. News content

Hi, I've been using Yahoo for about 15 years now. Im giving it until Sunday and then leaving. The news content isn't news anymore. You got some blogger reporter with a beard who is the worst ever. You have men hating women reporting all the time on non news stories. No on proof reads your stories. You are dumbing down news. I know this is the point but your view of the future sucks.

  6. Why oh why do people tinker with something that is not broken. I cannot access the desktop version on my ipad. Yahoo take note.

The whole yahoo organisation should be moved to Ireland where everything happens at a snails pace. Our philosophy to everything is ' if its not broken then don't try to fix it'. In the good old days I could view yahoo desktop on my ipad. Ok,sometimes I had to play around with the desktop link for a while but after having a shower, dinner and a read of a book, yahooooooo I suddenly found I could access the desktop section in order to post comments. Now this problem has bothered many a yahoo fan for yonks, but what do the…

  7. Talking Politics is without balance.

Quite simply Yahoo will lose out by pushing a political point of view in the talking Talking Politics stories. There is no pretence at balance and if this is putting forward Yahoo!'s political agenda then I am sure others like me will be off to other sites. This is a shame as I have enjoyed Yahoo! as a home page for many years

  9. have the option to remove the news

Have an option to completely remove the news. You sign in , check your emails and then go to a blank page like Outlook does. Thus getting rid of upsetting new stories and having NO say in what content gets flashed up

  10. adverts

Please give us the option of turning off full page adverts. They are terrible cpu hogs, especially that awful world war z one. The film is rubbish and nobody cares about it.

  11. Make the new email more like the old email, where you could for example have multiple emails open on tabs.

Allow users to manage multiple emails at once by having tabs.
Have easy disposable emails and folders created for there reply's made more automatic and easy. Sick of not being able to redirect some emails to the folder I want when they come in.

  12. 60 year old Decorated RRF Veteran loses dole for selling poppies. Daily Star, Page 33 6/12/2013 Let's help him

^0 year old Decorated Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Veteran Stephen Taylor of Bury, Gtr Manchester loses his dole money because he sold poppies. He's now in rent arrears etc due to the benefit cuts. Full story in the Daily Star, 6th December 2013 Page 33, top right including picture. This man fought for the country and instead of sitting back doing nothing he tried to help the RBL raise funds for other veterans. 14. Yahoo, are You Breaking the Trade Descriptions Act?

Yahoo, I am signed into Yahoo UK so why are my news threads focusing on the world news and issues?
My main aim is to see British news at a glance, I now have to trawl through a mountain of irrelevant stories that I have no interest in what-so-ever to access any UK news.
If you have changed to Yahoo World News could you please inform me?
When you are advertising Yahoo Uk then it should be Yahoo Uk, when you are not what it says on the box, then surely there are serious questions to be answered.

  15. Stop unsolicited emails marked "Sponsored".

Unsolicited emails marked "Sponsored" have recently started appearing in my Yahoo mail inbox, in contravention of my advertising opt-out cookie. These emails do not have a tickbox for selection and reporting to Yahoo as spam. Yahoo should put a stop to this or at the very least make sure these emails can be selected for reporting as spam.

  16. I posted that one cannot be classified as being British unless they have a British passport by law. Why was it deleted?

I am a pensioner. I am not vindictive in anyway shape or form far from it. But when some of my posts are deleted I simply do not understand the reasoning behind it. Could someone please be so good as to explain what I am doing wrong.

  17. "Report Abuse" confirmation option.

It should be a requirement to confirm your actions if you click on the "Report Abuse" in the comments section. I have on more than one occasion, managed to click on this accidentally and reported a perfectly acceptable comment as abuse. It needs a "do you want to report this comment?" dialogue pop up for confirmation. I am sure I am not the only person to do this, and it will happen more frequently as more people move to touch screens and press it while scrolling down the page.

  20. Please get rid of this new layout as I am trying to read a news story and it keeps moving to another one.

I am tired of having to chase the 'story' I want up and down the page. I like having a page for every story.
