The Ads have killed it
I used to love coming to Yahoo news. Unfortunately, the amount of ads, data and packets that not related to the news, especially the ads bar in the bottom of the window which expands all the time, have killed my love to yahoo news. I am browsing the news from work, so there are heavy checking on the packets, which naturally slow down webpage loading. The amount of useless data with yahoo news have made the website load even slower. As a result it is simply possible to use your service anymore.

I totally agree, yahoo news is one big mess when they add these extremely irritating banners that expand all the time. Its the same on my mail page, a right-hand banner usually UNICEF junk that I find offensive. The problem with yahoo news is they list the news links that they want you to read but there is no search box to find articles that you are interested in, so as a result, you cannot find anything and this makes yahoo news a dreadfully poor site. I can never find anything on yahoo. When people post comments, there is no 'show all comments' link like there is on youtube, showing all comments. Yahoo show about ten comments and then a link to add another ten, but if you are searching for a comment, it’s unlikely that you will find it as it can take hours searching through them all when there is no page with all the comments listed. I don't know what they are doing at yahoo, they are absolutely hopeless when it concerns news and comments but these banner expanding adverts are one big irritation. At least let the end user disable them is they so wish.
