Get rid of this AWFUL new format!!
I happen to LIKE my news ORGANIZED in "World", "Music" "Technology" etc. instead of being in this new "thrown at the wall" format. I LIKED the tidy bar at the top where I got a quick view of interesting stories instead of the heard-to-read mish-mash. Yahoo News is soon to be my FORMER news provider.

Give us the users a choice of what we want to look at, don't just change it. I don't like the new home page, too busy I want the one I had at the beginning of the week, Jan.12, 2014. MSN looks good or maybe The Loop, this one is just plain useless. I may also close my account.

clean up the comments sections. Racism and homophobic conduct has no place.
I have seen some truly vile and reprehensible conduct in the comments section of news stories that are disgusting even for someone like myself that is not easily offended. You need to moderate these comments sections to ensure that they do not become a platform for racists and homophobes. This is not the USA. We may have " freedom of speech" but that does not entitle one to spew hate on a public platform here in Canada. Shame on you yahoo for allowing this to go on this long. Hello. You have changed the color format on your yahoo news page. It is Blue. Hate it, hate it, hate it. My eyeballs are already sore!!
The transparent window hurts my eyes and so does the new blue font. please change it back to black. Otherwise I can't read it. It's bad enough sitting in front of a computer all day and now straining to read your news? There are too many other news sites I can go to.

The new home page is way too cluttered.
Give people the option of customizing the page, especially by removing links to Yahoo sites in the left pane. This is worse than the change in the Coca Cola formula. I hate this new home page with a passion!

Please fix the My Comments button! When I try to access it, the arrows spin like it is trying, but never opens it.
I would like to access "My Comments" but when I hit it the circular arrows spin, but it never opens. I end up stop the action after several minutes. You have had issues with your site 2 days in a row. Has it been corrupted or hacked?

Video Autoplay is Brutal
Stop embedding videos that play automatically and include lead-in ads that cannot be turned off. Truly infuriating.

The ads that pop up and take over half of the home page are infuriating.
When they pop up I close them but as soon as I return to the home page again, there it is again. There should be a way to turn them off!! They take up half the page!! If I can't find a solution I will find another home page to use.
