  5. ALL ORDINARIES (^AORD) Historical Data

Why does Yahoo find publishing the Volume Data for the All Ordinaries Index (^AORD) so hard ?

    (au.finance.yahoo.com/quote/%5EAORD/history?p=%5EAORD)

Your Volume Data regularly misses data (23Mar20, 24Feb20, 13Feb20...) or just publishes nonsense (11Feb20)

Get serious Yahoo ... its not that hard ...

  11. Lucy Dean is using an outdated table from the Australian Treasury

    The following articles:
    - Millions to receive $750 coronavirus payments from today: How you’ll get them (31/03/2020)
    - Everyone who will get the $750 coronavirus payments (30/03/2020)
    - Coronavirus: When will households receive the stimulus cash? (25/03/2020)
are using a table from the Australian Government Treasury that is out of date. As of March 24 2020, the government included Austudy and ABStudy, and Youth Allowance (Student) to the list of payments eligible for the fortnightly Coronavirus supplement. The table featured in these articles does not reflect this information.

  13. Correct data for AUD/USD on 24 Dec 2006

I value the Yahoo Finance service, however there are occasional errors that don't get corrected. A key one for me is the daily High for AUD/USD forex rate on 24 Dec 2006. It shows as 4.5952 compared to Open (0.7840), Low (0.7812), Close (0.7888). Given those data, it is unlikely that the High even exceeded 0.7900 and, obviously, 4.5952 is completely out of the question! The problem with that old datum being incorrect is that it makes impossible the use of the Max data range option because it makes the vertical scale too great to be useful.

  14. Inaccurate and incomplete historical data after download

Hi, I tried to download the historical data (csv file) for most of the cryptocurrencies paired to AUD and it is inaccurate and has incomplete data. Please check:

    TRON/AUD : https://au.finance.yahoo.com/quote/TRX-AUD/history?p=TRX-AUD

    LTC/AUD: https://au.finance.yahoo.com/quote/LTC-AUD/history?p=LTC-AUD

    Thanks

  15. Fact Checking is VERY Important

In the article 'Boosting welfare would just go to ‘drug dealers, pubs’: Minister', Lucy Dean wrote "...called for the rate of Newstart payments to be increased by $75, up from $559 a week." This should be $559 a fortnight.

The articles linked to this one state the correct rate, but there is a big difference between $250 a week and $500. People should not need to go to other articles to find the correct information, especially when it is so contradictory as to possibly create confusion.

To effectively participate in political and social discourse, people need correct information. This article…
