Change my current locaton!
This map shows my current location as one that is 60 miles away, I want the ability to change my current location to where I actually live, not where my internet address says I live. More precise when I am looking up directions and sign in and I don't have to re-enter my address every time I open the pages.

The ability to have yahoo detect my location might be a good idea for a cell phone, but it sucks for desktop machines. Auto-detect should be optional, especially for desktop machines. If there's any common theme among these suggestions, it's that we want more control over our location. Right now, there's an "add locations" button, but as far as I can tell, there's no way to actually use these locations. Please fix this. (From my experience working in corporate America, I'm guessing that the folks upstairs said "improve support for mobile devices," and somebody at the bottom thought this meant "abandon support for desktop machines.")

I have *repeatedly* advised NAVTEQ that my new zip code needs to be recognized - it has been *THREE YEARS NOW*! (This also affects my location for the weather on other pages.)
If NAVTEQ can't handle such basic stuff, please find someone that can. -

I strongly agree with James. I don't know how far away this place is, but it puts me at a defined address & that worries me. I have to wonder if someone has hijacked my computer.

This is the reason I came to this forum too. My current location is incorrect and I can't change it.

My current location shows that I am in several states from where I am, Arkansas to Maryland. I do not like this.

I've tried to reset my current position several times to no avail. I live in Ohio not Arkansas.
