Make reporting inaccuracies easier.
I work for a local city government as a geographer and cartographer. We recently decided to go through public mapping services to try and eliminate road name inaccuracies so that citizens and visitors can find addresses and streets within our community without issues. Google and Bing have been no problem in reporting problems.
However, I just spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out how to report an inaccuracy in your map service and have found no way to do so. I went through the map reporter link which showed a map that had no interactive function (could not be moved) and then requested I sign up at another site. So I signed up at the other site, which is different from the report a problem site and the report a problem site does not recognize the login from the other site. In other words, I was forced to give out personal information so that I could learn that both of these links are useless.
It reminded me of the old joke about having a complaint department set up in a trash can.
I cannot even go through this process of posting a suggestion without giving Yahoo my name and email address, which is ridiculous.
I was hoping to help you resolve some issues in your service, but instead I am only left with frustration and no option other than to recommend people NOT use your service.

I've compared your map of my neighborhood to that of google maps and they are basically the same however google has already made changes because they put the people who live nearby in control

I have lived at this address 12 years. I use to use this site all the time because it was easy. Now for some reason my address is no longer in your map. I would love it if you would fix that

In total & complete agreement with BDR, a Geographer & Cartographer ! Simply there are 2 ways to do some task; The Wrong Way & The Correct Way . Obviously, Yahoo prefers the Incorrect or Wrong Way . Is it any wonder that Yahoo is the Website NOT Used !!!
