  1. "Sorry, we could not find a route between the locations specified..." But ALL your competitors can!

    Terranea Resort, 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 IS a valid location. Entering it by itself highlights the property correctly. Yet attempting to get directions from any specific valid street address in Indiana gives ONLY the very UNhelpful error message quoted above. Entering EXACTLY the same information into Google Maps, Bing Maps, Apple Maps, and MapQuest generates complete turn-by-turn directions.

    Find the optimal route (you are finding sub-optimal routes). When I re-route to a more optimal stop moving the starting point. When you move the starting point you don't re-calculate the mileage and time until something else changes.

  11. I am looking for a replacement for Google Maps. Yahoo Maps ability to create a custom route is horrendous. It creates loops not new routes.

    Do you want to dominate online maps? Keep it simple and replicate Classic G Maps appearance. Avoid being like the new G Maps where it seems so bent on advertising and promoting businesses and it gets away from being a reference source.

    "Howard Vandegriff Road" is known to NO ONE in the vicinity; it's actually TN SR 53. "Clear Fork Road runs ONLY parallel to SR 53 and Clear Fork Creek. It does NOT make a 90 degree turn to the east at any point. That road is (and is so posted) Adamson Branch Road from its beginning at Clear Fork Road to the top of the ridge where it meets Pea Ridge Road. Adamson Branch Rd does NOT have a fork running back toward the town of Liberty; the road so labeled is in fact private and barricaded and should not…
