Calhoun 299 is actually Spellman Rd
Spellman Rd is original name of this road. It is within the HIghland Industrial Park/SAU Tech Campus which was originally the Shumaker Naval Ammunition Depot (1944). When Calhoun County started physical addressing it was agreed that the "area" would be allowed to name their road, most of the roads are names originally give them in 1941 at proposal of the Shumaker NAD.
