World news and national news are just that! Keep the Kardashians and the Kanye Wests of the world OUT of the news realm. Relegate their news to entertainment news. Also, there should be daily news about the military. If anyone has died while serving, Yahoo should make people aware of that. The brave men and women who serve us, serve us all. It doesn't matter if they were from a small town in Wyoming. They served and protected all of us.
Also, there should be a map of the United States where we should be able to click on a state and find out what is happening in a given state.

During elections, your news crews should investigate the claims of both sides equally. Who has contributed to their campaigns? How has a candidate voted on the floor in favor of a lobbyist? That way, the American people can see how much their politicians deceive us.

Finally, do some investigative journalism. There are many people and industries who need to be kept in check since our politicians will not do it for us.
