Yahoo is Tired of Free Speech
I find it disgusting that Yahoo disabled comments. It's no mistake that they did this a few months before the election. You'll also notice they have stepped up the completely biased news stories. Now you have to see the propaganda without having any way to respond to it. The comment section always counter balanced your biased garbage that parades around as "journalism". I'm going to get a g-mail account and stop using yahoo. If Joseph Goebbels had access to the internet in the 30's and 40's, his website would have looked and worked a lot like Yahoo.

Stop the media lies
Seems cutting of commenting during an election cycle is a political tool by the DNC................no one to fact check but the media itself.. People tell me everyday that Yahoo needs to clarify the reason of the timing.

Comment removal is the same as speech suppression.
With elections coming up and the virus being politicized more than ever the removal of the comments feels more like speech suppression. In the days after the removal I noticed a major up tic in news stories with blatantly false information being promoted. Most evolving around the election candidates and the virus.

Will dropping Yahoo page since I can no longer make comments on article you publish. This survey thing needs to be dropped.
Drop these surveys, Ican no longer make or seek comments about articles. Will be changing my page to another site and drop Yahoo, sadly.

Rand Paul could have exposed many people to the virus by his actions, so I don't think you should be posting anything from him. He obviously does not think clearly or carefully & does not care about anyone but himself.

Journalists should help during the crisis
Journalists should be helping during the virus problem , and informing all the unauthorised migrants they meet , that they should go home , as borders are closed in many countries , and they also are at risk from contracting the virus and spreading it .

Regarding censorship and generally offensive/obscene language
Yahoo will either censor words from published stories or censor the stories for the language. Why would Yahoo deem it appropriate to publish language of writers and censor same of those who comment.Offensive is offensive.

Restore the X-out option
The video that runs in the lower right in the news story section USED to be X-out-able. PLEASE FULLY RESTORE that option !!!!!!!

I suggest a better proofer, editor, etc. for your news feeds.
When reading your news feeds there are numerous errors being made. I have no idea if the typist is edited or not. I have been a medical transcriptionist and Voice Recognition editor. I cannot read a newspaper without finding errors. Proofing is in my blood I guess. Just a suggestion.

Your comments section is full of ignorance, and hate speech, never seen any website like this one. What are you doing yahoo? I report directly racist comments, and you keep them up! Do people of color not matter!

Stop demeaning articles about what women are wearing
Is this 1930? 1940? 1950? 1970? No. The multitude of articles about what women are wearing is so demeaning and misogynistic it makes my head spin. How about reporting on their accomplishments or latest projects? I'm guessing it's men who write these articles and male editors who approve them? Give them all some gender equality training, or get rid of them. Seriously, this is 2023. Get educated and grow up.
