Turn the sound up on video clips. Cannot hear them even with my sound all the way up. I bought side speakers and still cannot hear the clips
When playing video clips of Yahoo! news, I cannot hear them playing. I have my computer sound all the way up, as well as the video clip sound. I even bought side speakers and still cannot hear them. Couldn't you record them at a louder level? And, no, I'm not losing my hearing! lol. Thank you.

Make deleting comments easier!
Make deleting comments easier. It would be great if instead of seeing an error message of "Sorry, we are having trouble connecting right now. Please try again" 50 times in a row, the comment would delete on the first try.

You need proofreaders
I get tired of seeing articles full of simple spelling errors and bad grammar. Does anyone proofread anything anymore?

Where are all the images?
So many articles have no photos of what they feature. Say the article is talking about the new volvo model and it's new price; we want to see a photo of the new re-designed volvo we're reading about. It seems like journalism common sense. It's not one or two, but many many articles that feature a photo, or a video(but I understand why that may be more tricky to include), or anything at all, and lack what seems like a necessary photo or video. It is just frustrating/ a lack of quality that makes at least myself want to go…

Can you guys please have the reporters spell correctly and get the facts of a story?
Can you guys please have the reporters spell correctly and get the facts of a story? Too often than not, I have read a story and then have more questions at the end than I did before reading. But the title of the story for the castaway is what really got to me
"Pacific castaway arrives back in civilisation"
There is no "S" in civilization. Spell check will correct that. Come on guys. We're in a technological age and not spelling things correctly is almost unacceptable.

Before Yahoo forced users to use the new system, my local news was actually local news (from Tallahassee and nearby areas). Now the "local" news that shows up on my homepage is from Tampa, Palm Beach, and Orlando. All those cities are hundreds of miles away from me, and I really don't care what's happening there since I rarely visit any of them. My zip code is set correctly, so that's not the problem. As far as I can tell, there's no way for me to eliminate those areas from showing up in the news feed on my home page.…

The story about China's weibo exodus is all about Turkey and it's annoying. Who edited this?
edit the story and coordinate with IT before you publish.

Personal editing feature
The personalization feature of the news feed does not work. I have been properly editing certain news items for three months now and still receive edited articles. Yahoo just seems to ignore my delete items yet my past delete selections are kept in memory, apparently the program function stops at this point. For example I have selected not to view any "Dear Abbey" stories every day for three months now and every day there it is again. You do not have to be computer literate to see you wrote a program one way and promote it as another.

Change the shortcut key of pausing / unpausing a video.
When viewing an article with a video, I will often PAUSE the video (usually by clicking on the video while it's playing).. Then, I will start typing something down in the COMMENTS section. The problem is: whenever I use "SHIFT" while typing a whole word (to put that word in CAPS), I will next press the SPACEBAR, after the last letter in that word.. Often, my pinky finger is STILL holding down "SHIFT" when I press the spacebar, especially if I'm also intending to type the NEXT word in caps (but this also happens when I'm NOT typing the next…
