YN tried to eliminate the comment thread and thumbs up and down feature years ago. The backlash was so bad and so many users were lost that they had no choice but to immediately bring it back. No comment thread, no clicks. Bye yahoo

After all the data breaches, removing and restoring comments, and liberal bias I am finally done with yahoo. I don't feel like there is anywhere left to get real news. The comments are where you could go for fact checking and to see what people really thought. I truly feel like yahoo has taken away my right to free speech. I am afraid for America.

Just because I read news stories regarding Obama does not mean I want to be subjected to right wing lies from The Daily Caller on every Yahoo webpage. Please allow Yahoo users to screen out teasers from websites that they despise.

Hiding opposing viewpoints will not help your Agenda
When you remove comments, you are "hiding" any opposition to the Yahoo one-sided, one point of view editorials. They are all editorials btw, even if they come from Reuters, AP as the "author" is typically angry, frustrated and biased. By "cancelling" opposing oppinions, you become a Propaganda outlet instead of a News Outlet since your #1 goal is to push "your" content. We all see that, and not allow comments will not advance your agenda. In fact it does the opposite

So, you removed the comment section from the articles because the majority of the people and comments aren't going along with your liberal narratives. Your recent removal of posting responses to articles. If you've done this only to those that post responses you don't like that's wrong and will cause problems for Yahoo. I hope that's not what's happened but in todays world I wouldn't discount that.
