Stop sending news notifications that are not relative to my locale.
I live in a small town 100 miles from New York City, and some of the new story notifications that I receive from Yahoo News are tagged with the name of my town, even though the content of the news story has nothing to do with my town. I'm not particularly interested in hearing about murders or fires, etc. that happen in Brooklyn or Long Island, so why am I targeted to receive them? How can I opt-out when I don't think I ever opted in?

"Latest News" RSS vs Genre RSS ("World", "Science", etc.)
I have few questions regarding Yahoo RSSs. There are bunch of RSS that Yahoo provides. I believe the "Latest News" is provided by: https://www.yahoo.com/news/rss. However there are RSS for genre like "World" (https://news.yahoo.com/rss/world), "Sicence" (https://news.yahoo.com/rss/science) and etc. I thought the genre RSS ("World", "Science", ...) also contains what is in "Latest News" but categorized (separated). In other words, I can just focus on genre RSS. However there are very few duplication between "Latest News" RSS vs genre RSS. So here is my question.
1) Does "Latest News" get categorized eventually to genre RSS?

After all the data breaches, removing and restoring comments, and liberal bias I am finally done with yahoo. I don't feel like there is anywhere left to get real news. The comments are where you could go for fact checking and to see what people really thought. I truly feel like yahoo has taken away my right to free speech. I am afraid for America.

And why didn't the 17 year daughter, when she went to her grandmothers house, say something or went to the police about the mother and the boyfriend abusing the other kids?????? Plain stupid.

When ýou cancel a viewer (close comments so they can't give an opinion) because their views are different from yours ... yahoo really does loose credibility with their readers.
Our constitution states that we are a free and equal people.
When a person, or company won't open the door or let anyone in everyone knows that he is hiding something. Your that person that has a dead body in your back seat and just waving people by, saying "nothing to see here".
Our constitution also says it is written for a good and moral people.

You limit feedback about conservatives, but allow feedback about liberals. Case in point: You allow a lot of feedback (usually false) against George Soros, but don't seem to allow feedback against Charles Koch. They are more similar than different, yet you treat them differently. And neither one is a criminal or terrorist (or both of them are).

Just stop with the covid stuff, people are humans and all are individuals and do not have the same reaction to illness as others might that is why it should stay a personal choice period! Everyone can still catch it the vaccine is not going to keep you from getting it or spreading it. It is a virus. The flu is a virus but no one fears it, why cause it is a illness. Hiding opposing viewpoints will not help your Agenda
When you remove comments, you are "hiding" any opposition to the Yahoo one-sided, one point of view editorials. They are all editorials btw, even if they come from Reuters, AP as the "author" is typically angry, frustrated and biased. By "cancelling" opposing oppinions, you become a Propaganda outlet instead of a News Outlet since your #1 goal is to push "your" content. We all see that, and not allow comments will not advance your agenda. In fact it does the opposite
