Hire an Editor
I don't know if I've gotten crotchety, or if news organizations have gotten lazy, but I can't seem to get through 2 news articles without seeing simple, yet annoying, typographical errors, wrong word errors, misspellings, or you name it.
Are you even making an attempt at proof-reading? or do you just rely on Spellcheck?
I expect more from a Nation News source. -
Get spell check and hire people who know how to spell to write your articles.
It's disturbing how many spelling errors are in your articles!

Please hire a proper editor.
Once upon a time Newspapers had editors that never would have let slip through the nonsense your site does.
I read your site all the time with hope of improvement, but the grammatical errors are terrible and I just move on.. -

To Megan Liberman.
Dear Megan,
As editor in chief for yahoo news, I would assume that content displayed on the news page on yahoo falls under your jurisdiction. However as of late, all I see on yahoo news, is more or less.."entertainment" news. After seeing a lot of hype about "fake news" I would appreciate it if you actually took a look at the latest news feeds classified under the "news" category. There are…

You can cut the pop-ups and videos on auto-play when people are trying to read news articles. Not much more is frustrating or aggravating.

You've got a broken link on a news story!
It looks like the link to a section of the following article is broken:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/offices-game-thrones-halloween-photoshoot-213802871.html
For the anchor text to Go Ahead Tours, the link wasn't working. It should direct to:
If you could fix it that would be amazing!
Thanks,

Word Perfect had a program which checked spelling and grammar. WP is gone. If they had it, why doesn't Yahoo?

Edit home page content.
The hot topic today is fake news. When I opened Yahoo this morning on the right side of the home page just below Trending Topics, which I would consider advertisement space, was a picture titled "Megyn Kelly Gone at 45!, Americas favorite news reporter left us to soon..." and a button to push for "Read More". I'm pretty sure this is not a true statement and only a leader to more advertisements. Someone, and I mean a live and breathing person, should be looking and editing this kind if miss information.

Improve headline writing & punctuation!
I love yahoo.com, and use it as my browser, but your headlines often have writing and punctuation errors that irk this retired English teacher!
