Why am I getting mostly US news? I live in Australia, not the USA. If I want US news, I'll go to a US news site
Why am I getting mostly US news, when I live in Australia? If I wanted US news, I would go to CNN or Fox. If I can't have Australian news on Yahoo, I will go to MSN nine.

You are getting usa content because this supposedly new format is a direct clone of yahoo usa. All yahoo have done is to paste in some aussie content, miserable mongrels It is also rubbish in that when you exit any of the articles you not automatically returned to the place where you entered the article and have to scroll again to find your place. This is made more difficult by the fact that the order of the articles is no longer the same as when you left it to go inside each article. Please Yahoo, have the decency to create and present us with our own unique version of yahoo7 and not some adulterated clone of your usa site.

Absolutely again, national, local and foreign drop down menus, home page should tell us the news of today, the "now" news of Australia with the really big news from abroad...and get rid of those dopey video stories about nothing.....ie bear robs garbage bin in Alaska, well bugger me that's what bears do in Alaska....like nobody's ever seen that before.....Serious "NEWS people, not gimmicks.
