My comment here was deleted too! I agreed with Dianne that the new page is painful, particularly on the eyes due to the ridiculous amount of shining WHITE.

I recommend taking charge of your browsing experience, by using a better browser with add-ons that block that annoying advertising. I do. Ads are no problem for me. I hardly ever see any. Try Firefox with AdBlock Plus and NoScript.

They don't care what Australians want. Yahoo sees itself as bigger than Australia. They probably are, too. So to them we are meaningless, and they make it clear by the way they treat us.

Actually, USAmericans say "could care less", meaning "could not care less." They just don't get it. You will need to dumb-down your English so they can read what you are saying.

Yes, the new weather arrangement is horrific. It is uncustomisable, bulky, not at the top, and FOR THE WRONG LOCATION!!! All that space to show somebody else's weather!!
No, my mistake. The endless random scroll issue is not fixed. I must have just experienced a lucky period when it was disabled. It's back! However, I do think the balance of news stories, now, is not too bad for an Australian audience.
