Why am I getting mostly US news? I live in Australia, not the USA. If I want US news, I'll go to a US news site
Why am I getting mostly US news, when I live in Australia? If I wanted US news, I would go to CNN or Fox. If I can't have Australian news on Yahoo, I will go to MSN nine.

Hey Yahoo, can you let me opt out of changing my password or giving you my mobile phone number.
For a few weeks now, every time I log in to Yahoo I get asked to change my password and to give you my mobile phone number. I am happy with the level of security of my password and I am Not giving you my mobile phone number. Please give me the option to opt out of receiving this message. If I opt out then I am assuming the risk of my email being hacked.

New webpage = MORE intrusive advertising!
I believe the only reason you changed a perfectly functional and helpful web page is so you can inflict even more intrusive advertising. Go back the previous web page design quickly or I'm out of here, I don't need this unhelpful, hard to utilise VERY poor design!

Stop Sponsored ads. I don't want unsolicited email. They might be sponsored but they eat into my downloads at my expense

Why can't I sort within categories (eg sport) any more? Too much info, too cluttered!
Ok, I understand the need to upgrade - the old format certainly didn't work well on my mobile, and took ages to load. And I know it takes time to get used to a new format. But, I can't quickly locate the info I'm looking for any more, and I can't see that changing. Everything is all lumped in together, with no option to sort other than the broad categories eg news, sport. I have to scroll for ages, hoping to find a relevant article, meanwhile wasting my time scanning all the irrelevant ones. Not very user-friendly as an interface.

Hate the new home page. Go back to the way it was. I want to hover over my mail and see what has been sent without logging in all the time.

go back to the previous version and give people a chance to vote on change or keep the old one. Get rid of ads
When you chose no ads - that is what you should get. Or at least ones that don't flash across all pages. We are not all tech heads - simplicity is best. Life is too busy and stressful to waste trying to figure out new websites. PS Terms of Services doesn 't even mention Australia - so easy to agree - because there is nothing to agree to.

Large ads at the top of your pages are to large and agressive, thinking of changing homepage if this doesnt change.
Get rid of these huge ads, they not only slow down the browser to an unacceptable level but they are also an assault on the eyes - very intrusive! If it wasn't for this opportunity to provide feedback I would be changing my homepage to another provider. On the bright side I would like to congratulate you on having this feedback option without which no doubt many would leave and you wouldn't have a clue as to why.

Cut the wasted spaces: Wrong area weather and useless search bar.
Cut the wasted spaces: Wrong area weather and useless search bar. There's a limit to screen space, and a big chunk of it is wasted displaying a weather summary for SOMEBODY ELSE'S LOCATION. Make th eweather compact and expandable, and make it for the user's REAL location. And get rid of the HUGE strip devoted to the pointless searchbar.

Well, how about making it work on an ipad. Typical AUS, 20 years behind. How about just going to the USA yahoo page and calling it done.
Skip the 'news' on the kardashians and all the rest of them- lohan, miley, and all the rest of the **** u try to force on us in the desperate hope that we'll click so u can sell more adds. Pathetic excuse. Was way better when I could choose my own content. I'll switch if I find something better. Yahoo is about .5 out of 10

homepage now faulty as you have a location Newcastle 200km away home at Toongabbie Sydney OZ & now searches are blocked ?
Too many changes. My biggest problem is that the location to where I lived was changed to wherever my ISP head office was located & that was LOCKED IN & not able to be changed ? This goes back a few years in total. Even though I complained to yahoo back then it must have fallen on DEAF EARS ? I changed ISP's a few times & so did the CORE city. With the CORE city it doesn't remember stored details like non critical forum log ins ? Virgin HQ was said by yahoo to be in Brisbane OZ 1,000km…
